Dr Kathrin Rac

 

Throughout her careers, she has gained wide experience within General Medicine, General and Ophthalmic Surgery, Emergency medicine and Medical Education.


Dr Kathrin Rac graduated in 2012 from James Cook University in Far North Queensland. Since then, she has gained wide experience within General Medicine, General and Ophthalmic Surgery, Emergency medicine, and Medical Education.

Dr Kathrin values healthy ageing and optimisation of health before the onset of disease. Her main interests are women’s hormones and thyroid disease.

She has completed additional speciality training through the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and MINDD. She also holds a Masters in Ophthalmic Science and Diploma in Medical Education. She is a clinical advisor for Glaucoma Australia. 

Outside of medicine, Dr Kathrin enjoys writing health blogs, tutoring, and spending time in nature with family and friends.
