Dr Ros Foster

With over 20 years experience working as a specialist physician, Dr Ros is passionate about enabling patients to optimise their long-term health. She practises a compassionate and holistic model of individualised, high quality and evidence-informed patient care and is a specialist physician in Sexual Health.


Dr Ros Foster qualified from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2000. She was admitted to the Royal College of Physicians in 2003 then specialised in genitourinary medicine at St Mary's Hospital in London. She came to Sydney in 2009 and has worked for more than a decade as a specialist physician in Sexual Health. She has particular expertise in providing care for people living with HIV and people with sexual health needs.

Dr Ros Foster is a fellow of the Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She holds Graduate Diplomas in Genitourinary Medicine, Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV Medicine, Clinical Education and Positive Psychology. She is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW, Faculty of Medicine and Health.

She has published over 30 articles in peer reviewed medical journals and presented at many international conferences. Ros is undertaking training in Integrative Medicine through the Australian College of Nutrition and Environmental Medicine.
